Solid Silver British Bulldog Spoon (Awarded 1914) – SOLD

A British Bulldog Club antique sterling silver trophy spoon featuring a well modelled bulldog head, above legend “THE BRITISH BULLDOG CLUB”.

The spoon is based on a single struck Kings pattern, but was specially commissioned by the club who wanted to present a more useful trophy than a medal. The club was established in 1892, and still operates today.

The hallmarks are clear, this spoon was made in Birmingham by J A Restall & Co & awarded to a “Lady Autumn” in 1914.
